If you have kids you know how tough having a toddler can be – the same is true when photographing them, as well. Well, Bryce did a amazing job during his session! It isn’t every day that we get a toddler that does this well!
When it comes to toddlers, we like to start simple. They can get distracted very easily and can fixate on objects that we don’t want in the session. Once we nail some great basic shots, it is time to kick things up a bit! For Bryce’s session, we started out by doing a few family shots to get the ball rolling, and then moved into individuals of him alone. Bryce sure does love his trucks, so we made sure to incorporate some of his own trucks into the session as well! He also had lots of fun knocking down his name we spelled out in blocks! I mean, come on, what’s more fun than knocking over a tower of blocks?
It’s easy to prioritize getting your family portraits taken during the large milestones (newborn, 6 months, 1 year old), but don’t forget to take the time to capture portraits during the toddler years as well! These kiddos grow up so fast, and we want to help you capture these fleeting moments! With these adorable portraits hanging on your wall, you can reminisce about playing with trucks and all of their silly toddler-isms that they’re going to grow out of way too fast!
