It was an idyllic day for a wedding. In an idyllic location. The sun was golden wrapping it’s gentle arms around the loving home Mallory’s father built in Westminister, Ma when she was a small child. The air was filled with the sweet smell of summer and a gentle breeze swayed the childhood swing in the front yard of the family farm. It was Mallory and Dave’s wedding day. What a gorgeous day it would turn out to be!
The family horses were even present to witness the special occasion and join in on the some of the photo fun! Which made for some beautifully unique wedding day images.
What a beautiful idea for Mallory and Dave to choose such a heart filled location to say, “I do.” Charm and sweetness were abound!
Guests were ushered to hay bails draped in linen providing a comfortable place to view the bride as she was lovingly escorted by her father down the rustic driveway Mallory so fondly ran up and down as a child. Perhaps Mallory even played make believe about what her wedding day would be like in this very same spot? We were getting teary eyed at the thought!
The ceremony was sweet, touching, and full of emotion. It was a beautiful display of two families coming together to form one.
Mallory shared with us why she chose her childhood home for her wedding location.
“I wanted to be able to share my own memories with my soon to be husband and his family, as well as give everyone else a beautiful memory of a place special to me.”
It was special, Mallory! Although we were behind the camera snapping away, we felt like family too. We were honored to be able to capture the gift of sharing your fond memories and cherished home with loved ones and your now husband!
